A beautiful day was had by all, especially our man Po, who instantly, happily - and noisily - formed one half of the Oddest Couples for the afternoon. Pippo, all elegant and slender limbed, behaved like the perfect gentleman (very Fantastic Mr. Fox) while our stinker joyfully barreled alongside , snorty drool face and all...
Time for a few refreshments in the form of awesome potato and pasta salads, lamb sausages and pickles.
There's always room for ice cream! Especially if it's freshly churned vanilla with local strawberries and maple syrup...oh yes.

Well, don't forget - he is a country boy at heart. Born and bred! He's still got some hay stuck behind his ears, apparently :)
ReplyDeleteIt really was amazing to see him right at home...zooming headlong straight into the fields! We could only tell where he was by looking for the top of Pippo's head and the rustling sounds following him. :)
